New Exhibits on Main Street

Lots of new work has recently been put on display from Foundations of Art and Drawing and Painting classes. The abstract art unit has come to a close in Drawing and Painting and students have helped curate an exhibit of over 30 of the strongest works chosen by the artists as well as a panel of teachers. We had a special mini exhibit on display last week and a number of teachers stopped by the AR-8 classroom to choose the top ten paintings that resonated with them.

In addition, Foundations of Art students have just completed their exhibit showcasing their scaled model prototypes. The new twist this year is to make the objects animated or doing some type of action.

I could go on and on explaining the work but you really need to see it for yourself! To see a lot more abstract paintings click here!
